Shipping & Returns


Please allow 14 days for your order to be received in Australia, and 28 days for New Zealand and international orders.

Due to Covid-19, there is a delay in receiving orders. Please be patient.

All orders are sent Monday to Friday.

If you wish to purchase multiple items, please add them all to your cart before you checkout. Unfortunately we can not combine orders after they are placed


Pre-orders for Vinyl/CD's are sent on the day that the album is released. 

Note: If you order an in-stock item with a pre-order, these items will ship when the pre-order becomes available. This is due to only one shipping charge being applied on the order placed. We cannot ship items separately if they are ordered together in 1 transaction. We recommend ordering pre-order items in a separate transaction, so they don’t hold up delivery of other in-stock items.



Click and collect is available from Soundmerch, 64 Oxford St, Collingwood in the following two ways

1. Collect from our retail store....this is open 11am - 5pm daily.

2. If you're unable to attend during the above can collect from the warehouse from 9am - 11am Monday to Friday.



You may return your order only if it is wrong size / incorrect colour / damaged. All returns must be sent back within 14 days to be eligible. All returns must be approved first by email and you need to specify the reason for the return and the 5 digit invoice number. If the item was an incorrect purchase, you will be charged for postage for the returned item.

Cash refunds are not given, and if you return an item, you'll receive a credit for that same amount.

Returns must be new, unworn, and unwashed. We do not refund postage costs on returns or exchanges, unless there was a processing error on our behalf.

SOUNDMERCH is not responsible for lost or damaged packages. Minor postal damage such as seam splits, corner dings, cracked jewel cases and slight warps that do not affect audio can not be exchanged or refunded.

Please note that for deliveries outside of Australia, you will be responsible for any inbound customs duties or taxes your country imposes on imported goods.
These charges can vary widely and are often based on the price, type of item, package weight/dimensions and the taxes, duties and fees of the destination country. If you do not pay any customs and/or duties required to release the parcel for delivery and the goods are returned to us as a result, we will be unable to issue a refund on the goods. 

SECURITY/PRIVACY SSL certificate implemented. No credit-card information is handled by SOUND MERCH. Intruder detection software & procedures will be handled by the hosting provider. SOUND MERCH does not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others.
